Integrations
swungby and Slack
Works today. Switching it on takes a minute, on every plan, including the free one.
A message in the channel of your choice as soon as a new company is recognised.
What goes to Slack
- The company: name, website, city, size and registration number
- How sure we are, and why
- Through which channel they came in
- The pages viewed
- The person, only if they clicked themselves or filled in your form
What does not go along: email addresses we have not verified. A person only goes along if they clicked themselves or filled in your form.
How to switch it on
- In Slack, go to api.slack.com/apps, click Create New App, choose From scratch and give it a name, for example swungby.
- Click Incoming Webhooks on the left and switch it on.
- Click Add New Webhook to Workspace at the bottom, choose the channel and click Allow.
- Copy the Webhook URL and paste it below.
A private channel? Invite the app there first with /invite @swungby, or the message will not arrive.
- What does the integration cost?
- Nothing. Integrations are on every plan, including the free one, just like the API and the webhook.
- Do email addresses go along?
- Only of someone who clicked a link in your email or filled in your form themselves. Addresses we have not verified are never sent anywhere.
- What if Slack does not respond for a while?
- Then we try again, six times in 24 hours, and you see every attempt in your account. If it still does not work after three days, we switch the integration off and email you a button to switch it back on.
Within five minutes you see who came by.
