How it works
One line on your site. We do the rest.
Five steps, no settings. Everything you need to know to decide whether this is for you.
Other providers call this IP recognition or website visitor identification. We call it seeing who came by.
1
Put one line on your site
Copy the line and paste it into your website, or send it with one button to whoever builds your site. For WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix and the other common platforms the steps are included. As soon as the first visitor comes by you see it on your screen, usually within a minute.

We say how they came in
Via Google, via LinkedIn, via a link in your newsletter, via another site, or directly. We read that from the page someone came from and from the codes you put in your own links. If we do not know, nothing is shown; an address someone types over from a letter is invisible to us.

We say which company it was, and how sure we are
Every company goes online from its own connection, and for most Dutch companies public registers say which one. That is how we tell which company a visitor is from. For every company it says how sure we are and why, in one sentence. The address of the connection is encrypted within a second and deleted within an hour.
How certain we are, at a glance
- Certain. Recognised by their office internet connection..CertainRecognised by their office internet connection.
- Probable. Recognised by a business connection that usually belongs to this company..ProbableRecognised by a business connection that usually belongs to this company.
- Uncertain. We could not link this visit to a company with certainty. Have a look first..UncertainWe could not link this visit to a company with certainty. Have a look first.

You clear the list
Every company appears once in your list, with what they looked at and what you would do about it. Done, later or not for us, and five seconds to undo. New visitors appear by themselves, and when you are finished it says you are finished.
Today
2 companies are waiting for you.
This is your list for today, with example companies. Click a company to see what is behind it.

An email every weekday morning
Who came by since the last email and what to do today, in one email, every weekday morning. No email if there was nothing. Switched off with one button in your account.

Subject3 companies looked at your site
swungbyVan Dongen Installatietechniek
Looked at your pricing this morning for the third time this week, and stayed longest on maintenance contracts.
Call them today, they are already comparing.
Meijer Dakbedekking
Came in an hour ago through the link in your newsletter and opened the quote page straight away.
Send Joris the quote he was looking at.
Brouwer & Zn. Logistiek
First visit, late yesterday afternoon. Mostly read about who you are.
You only get this email on days there was something. Switch it off with one button in your account.
What you notice in an ordinary week
Monday
Three companies in your list, two via Google. One looked at your pricing: you call them. Two read about who you are: later.
Tuesday
Nothing. Then you get no email either, and your list stays empty.
Wednesday
One company, in through the link in your newsletter. You know exactly who, because that person clicked it themselves.
What we take out before it counts
Other tools let this count towards the rate they advertise, or let it eat your limit. We take it out and show you how much it was.
Search engines and bots
Google, Bing and the hundreds of crawlers that visit every site.
Home connections
Ordinary consumer lines. No company can be linked to these.
Phones
Via 4G or 5G. Nobody can derive a company from this, and neither can we.
VPN and data centres
Traffic that arrives through an intermediate station.
Your own people
Visits from your own office. That is you, and that should never become a lead.
Whoever clicks a link in your email, you recognise for certain
Put your contacts into the Contacts screen once and use the link you get back in your own emails. Whoever clicks it is linked to that person, even from a phone or from home. The link never contains an email address, only a code that only we can read. That is exactly the visit we would otherwise not see. If someone fills in a form on your site with a business address, that person is listed just as certainly.
Who you have emailed
A unique link per contact for your emails. Whoever clicks it, you recognise with certainty, even at home or on a phone.
yourcompany.com/quote?s=7k2p9qclicked an hour agoWhere it goes
Under Integrations in your account you create a key or a webhook; your developer needs about an hour. Today that works through the webhook, the API, the morning email, the export with links and the form on your site.
Slack, Microsoft Teams, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Teamleader are coming as ready-made integrations. Until then you do the same through the webhook, and that keeps working afterwards.
What we do not do
No recognising people
We tell you which company came by, not who sat behind the screen. That is not possible in Europe, and we do not pretend.
No made-up email addresses
Other tools guess an address from the pattern within a domain and let you find out whether it exists. We only show addresses a company published itself, with the page included.
Nothing on the device
No cookie, no storage, no browser fingerprint. So no consent is needed and the script can run before the cookie banner.
Put this in your privacy statement
Our script stores nothing with your visitors, but the GDPR asks that you say what you do. You can copy this paragraph.
We use swungby to see which companies visit our website. For this, the IP address of your connection is compared with public registers of company networks and then encrypted immediately. Nothing is stored on your device and no individuals are identified. More at swungby.com/en/privacy.
Within five minutes you see who came by.
One line on your site, and the first companies usually show up the same day.
