What changes
Every month: what is different, in plain language.
What a user notices, not what happened under the bonnet. Newest first.
September 2026
Every visit, including what we could not place
The new Visits screen shows every day as a ladder: person known, company certain or probable, business without a name, only the provider known, data centres, bots and your own people. Each step opens up to the visits behind it, with filters on channel, page and country. On a visit without a name you can say yourself who it was. The morning email now also mentions the rest of the day, and the morning count can go to Slack, Teams or a spreadsheet. Providers no longer appear as companies.
The front door says where it goes, not what you should do
Instead of three prescribed actions there are now five channels: your CRM, your email tool, your team, LinkedIn and Google Ads, each with what works today and what is coming. The comparison has a new Integrations row, with a source per provider.
From free to a bigger plan, with no one in between
On the account screen you choose a plan and pay the first month with iDEAL or card. After that it runs monthly, and going back to free is one button. Above your limit we still hide nothing.
Signing up starts with your website
You enter your website first, then your email address. While you walk to your inbox we already check which platform your site uses, and after the code the install screen is tailored. When the first visit comes in you get one email, with the company if we recognised it.
You see how someone arrived
Every company in your list shows the channel of its last visit: via Google, via LinkedIn, via your newsletter, via another site, or direct. Also in the API and the webhook.
Recognising on the phone and later, if the visitor says yes
Switch it on and, after a yes to marketing cookies, our script remembers for six months which company a browser belongs to, at home and on the phone too. Without a yes nothing happens; a no or a withdrawal deletes everything. On iPhone and in Safari it lasts a week, and we say so.
The person who filled in your form
If someone fills in a form on your site with a business email address, that person appears in your list by name and the visit counts as certain. Can be switched off on your account screen; a private address never comes in.
Free up to 50 companies per month
The free plan went from 250 to 50 companies per month, and the paid tiers came down with it: Start up to 250, Growth up to 1,000, Scale up to 3,000, at the same prices. Nothing is hidden above the limit.
API, webhooks and colleagues
A key for your own system, a webhook that forwards every newly recognised company straight away, a second website and inviting colleagues: all on every plan, including free. Assign with the a key.
Our own address and monitoring that emails you
swungby lives at swungby.com. If your site goes quiet you hear it from us, with the four usual causes. Your own visits no longer count: we recognise the networks you log in from.
